Shell+ 3.0.1 available |
The new maintenance version of Shell+ has been released:
- Improved TsxTrayIcon component. Now custom balloon behaves absolutely like system visual control and works for all operating system: Win95 ... Win2K3.
- Added expert that allows to create custom system-tray notification balloon form.
- Improved TsxFileFolder component. Now it uses different instances of PermanetModule for different files. This improves performance and increases stability of file-based namespace extensions.
- Fixed problems with Explorer Band component.
- Added event handler that allows gracefully handle extensions when registering shell extensions.
- Fixed bug with TsxContextMenu. Now it can appear for Windows "Start" button.

The new version of Shell+ has been released:
- Delphi 2005 and 2006 support
- New package names and licensing options
- TsxExplorerBand - component that allows to create explorer bands like Search, Favourites, etc.
- TsxFileDropTarget - component which allows any file to be a drag&drop target
- TsxChangeNotifier - new features that makes the component much faster when it works on W2K/XP and W2K3 systems
- Default View mode can be specified for ShellView
- Themed background can be optionaly displayed for PropertyPage
- Support for 48x48 XP icons in NSE
- New events and properties for DataProvider component
- Tray Icon enchancements: balloon notification support on old Windows versions, custom balloon notifications
- DataGrain cache (improve speed for NSEs that work with remote data sources)
- Fixed bugs
- Optimized retrieving file contents for Drag&Drop operation
